My Top 3 Life Changing Books

I love to read self-help books. I honestly think it has become an obsession. Every new year I compile a book log of all the books I want to read for the year. I put them on a cute book tracker and paste it into my planner for reference.  But I wanted to share with you my top 3 favorites. Could I go on and on about more books? Yes. Yes, I could. But these 3, in my opinion, have changed my life. They are not listed in any specific order.

You’re a Badass- Jen Sincero

Life Changing Books

True confession, however, this is really two books that I just loved. You’re a Badass and You’re a Badass at Making Money. In You’re a Badass, Jen conveys to the readers how they need to get out of their own way to make things happen. She gives you the confidence to just put yourself out there. This book will help you get past your own negativity that is holding you back, get past your fears and help you set goals that you will CRUSH!

In You’re a Badass at Making Money, Jen Sincero helps you see the money mindset that is holding you in these fears about money. You may not even be aware that you think such ways about money or that they are sabotaging your chances of having more money. This book helped me get over my extreme frugality and realize that you need to value yourself more than money.

The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom- Suze Orman

Top 3 Life Changing Books

This book is a little older, it was published in 1997. This was the first book I read when I had decided to take over my financial life. She has a plethora of extremely helpful books and if you are interested in your finances I recommend reading all of them. Suze Orman digs deep into money mindset. She teaches you about saving money, dealing with debt, and all things necessary to change how our money past continues to haunt us.

As with all things, not everything her or David Ramsey says fit with how I live my life, but there is a reason they are so well known in their field. I take their knowledge and learn from it and apply it to fit my life.

Radical Confidence- Lisa Bilyeu

Radical Confidence

Do you feel stuck in your life? This book is great for women who feel a conflict in who they are and who they are meant to be. Did you have different goals and dreams that just didn’t play out in your life? Lisa Bilyeu was a stay-at-home wife because that is what she thought she was meant to do. She had other dreams and goals but there was an internal struggle with her culture and what she thought was the norm for women.

The respect she has for herself and her husband shines through this book. Because she was honest with her husband about how she was feeling she was able to make changes in her life to help her achieve her goals as well. She is the co-founder of the billion-dollar company Quest Nutrition along with her husband.

This book was so good to me that I have also started listening to her podcast Woman of Impact and following her on all of her platforms.
