I am a planner by heart! Usually, by January 1st I am preparing my planner for holidays coming up. And of course one of those is Christmas. You may recall in my More Bank Accounts Could Help Your Budget, that I have an account for Chrismas. If you do not know about this concept feel free to read about it here.
I am always on the lookout for Christmas gifts I may want to buy my family and friends throughout the year. I have a gift closet full of Birthday and Christmas gifts waiting to be gifted. However, If I did not keep track of these items somehow they would definitely be forgotten about in the messy closet!
So in my planner, amongst many other things, is a Christmas Gift List. It is used throughout the year to keep track of the gifts I have purchased for Christmas. I also love that I can set my expected budget for each person and write in what I actually spent. I love totaling it up at the end of the year and see how I faired.
The Christmas Gift List has a category for the gift idea, budget, amount spent, wrapped, given, and if a Christmas card went with it. You can print your Free Christmas Gift List here.
I would love to hear from you how you plan to get ahead of the holidays!
